I am planning a tool to help organise TPM activities and maintain production equipment. I envisage several versions with different levels of detail — from a simple plan of essential tasks to a more extensive solution for analysing equipment condition and completed work.
Maintenance plans and indicators
I want to make simple plans available as a ready starting point. I will discuss the scope of a more advanced version with the end user and adapt it to the needs of their site.
The tool is intended to support maintenance plans, the scheduling of inspections and preventive actions, and the tracking of completed work. I also plan statistics and TPM indicators such as OEE, MTBF, MTTR, the number of failures, downtime and on-time completion of inspections. A plan can then provide insight into equipment reliability and the effectiveness of maintenance actions, rather than being just a task list.
